Golan Telecom entered the Israeli cellular provider market in 2012, offering low-cost plans. A cellular device must be 3G-compatible to work on this network. Golan Telecom utilize a roaming agreement with Cellcom, which allows their users to roam free of charge on Cellcom’s mobile network until they build their own, independent, cellular network.
Golan Telecom broadcasts on 3G 2100 MHz, and in areas where they don’t have towers, they roam on Cellcom’s 2G 1800 MHz, and 3G 850/2100 MHz HSDPA. Read more about what this means here.
Customer support is available by dialing *0058, and via other options listed on their support website.
